College Campuses
The College offers a wide range of training opportunities throughout the Outer Hebrides. The main campuses are in Benbecula and Barra. These centres make use of information and communications technology systems to deliver education and training. They are linked to the main campus in Stornoway and also to the UHI network and beyond. The College’s Art courses are run at Taigh Chearsabhagh Arts Centre in Lochmaddy, North Uist.
- Barra
- Courses available through the centre fall into three main categories: Open Learning; remotely delivered courses; and locally delivered classes.
- Benbecula
- The Benbecula Campus was officially opened on 13th September 1999 by Alasdair Morrison, Member of the Scottish Parliament for the Western Isles and Minister for the Highlands and Islands, along with the Minister of State at the Scotland Office, Brian Wilson.
- Lochmaddy
- Located at Taigh Chearsabhagh in Lochmaddy, North Uist we offer courses in BA Fine Art (Levels 1 & 2) and a Diploma in Art & Design.
- Stornoway
- Our main campus in Stornoway sits in 600 acres (240 hectares) of parkland overlooking Stornoway Harbour.
