Welcome to Lews Castle College, Benbecula! We have been teaching full-time courses in traditional music and Gaelic language since 2000 and we continue to consolidate our position as one of the best centres in the UK for the studying of these subjects. Our small numbers and excellent resources mean that we are able to offer our students a quality of education and support that is difficult to beat. We have made a commitment to the teaching of traditional and especially Gaelic music, but we are also invested in giving our students a wealth of hands-on experience using the latest music technology. Pro Tools, the industry standard recording system, has been a solid part of our programme since 2004, and we are a certified training partner of Digidesign, the company
behind it.
