Our main campus in Stornoway sits in 600 acres (240 hectares) of parkland overlooking Stornoway Harbour.
Stornoway is the principal town
of the Outer Hebrides and is home to fantastic sports facilities, a

The
islands, forty miles (60km) off Scotland's Atlantic Northwest coast,
have a thriving cultural scene, in terms of music and Gaelic as well as
adventure sports. Some fantastic archaeological sites, excellent
beaches, moorland, machair and mountains and a way of life that has no
equal.
The college specialises in Gaelic, being Scotland's
Gaelic heartland, Engineering (with specialisms in renewable
technologies), computing, traditional music, fine art, Health studies,
including rural health, rural development, food management and

We have been educating the people of the Outer
Hebrides and students from all over Scotland for over fifty years,
originally in the historic Lews Castle, now in brand new campuses, as a
part of the UHI, Scotland's newest and most exciting higher education
institute. We offer post-school education at every level, right up to
Ph.D.
