External and Community Relations

This section covers information relating to the College’s relationship with its external environment. These include how it manages its relationship with the local community and how it retains contact with its former staff and students. By virtue of its nature most colleges will probably find that the majority of these classes are already made available to the public by some means.

Alumni

  Arrangements for keeping in touch with former staff and students In August 2004 UHI initiated the establishment of an Alumni Association to enable contacts to be maintained with former students.
Community Relations Description of the facilities and services available to the local community The College provides facilities for the hire of rooms for meetings and conferences to local organisations and its cafeteria and Training Restaurant are open to members of the public by arrangement.
Development activities Promotional material relating to institutional fundraising objectives
