• Access to online journals, indices, abstract services, and subject gateways is available through Electronic resources.

Inter-site loans

• UHI facilitates lending between UHI libraries to widen access for students and staff to books not available at their college library.
• Contact your local library or learning centre with information about the material required – author, title, which UHI libraries hold copies of the book.
• The loan is at the discretion of the holding library. Generally, reference materials, short loan materials, rare or fragile materials and items that are too bulky to post would not be lent between sites.
• This service is free of charge to users.

Inter-library loans

• LCC library participates in the national inter-library loan (ILL) scheme to enhance further the range of resources available to students and staff. Inter-library loans refer to material not available from UHI libraries, but possibly available from another library.
