Job Description

An Cotan Childcare Centre is currently updating its relief staff list.  A willingness to work within all areas and a degree of flexibility should be demonstrated.  Applicants should be qualified to SVQ Level II Early Education & Childcare or a qualification that will satisfy the registration requirements of The Scottish Social Services Council.  All applicants will also require joining the PVG Scheme (previously known as an enhanced disclosure).

LECTURER IN ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING

 

Salary

Salary £24,913 - £34,962 (includes Islands Allowance)

 

Job Description

Applications are invited for the above post, which is located at the main campus in Stornoway.  The successful applicant will be involved in the delivery of a broad range of Engineering programmes and will assist with a number of renewable energy projects.

Applicants must possess an Honours Degree in Electrical Engineering, and a Teaching Qualification is desirable.  Recent relevant industrial experience is also essential.  An interest in and/or experience of Engineering within the Renewable Energy sector would be an advantage.
