Where are we?
The main campus of Lews Castle College (Colaisde a' Chaisteil) is situated in the Castle Grounds, overlooking Stornoway Harbour on the Isle of Lewis, in the Outer Hebrides (or the Western Isles) of Scotland.

The college also has a few other campuses, Benbecula College on the Isle of Benbecula, Lochmaddy Campus in North Uist and Barra Learning Centre at the end of the islands chain.

Car and passenger ferries run from mainland Scotland at Ullapool straight to Stornoway, or a more scenic route can be had travelling onto the Isle of Skye over the bridge, and then catching a ferry at the North end of Skye to the Isle of Harris, which is directly linked to the Isle of Lewis. There are also ferry ports at Lochmaddy (North Uist), Lochboisdale (South Uist), and Castlebay (Barra).
Regular flights visit Stornoway airport from Glasgow (1 hour flight) and Inverness. There are also daily flights between Glasgow and Benbecula, and between Glasgow and Barra.
