BEng (Hons) Energy Engineering

This new Energy Engineering degree deals with three major aspects of energy use: the technolgy of renewable energy devices: the built and natural environment; and building design.

This course introduces you to electrical and mechanical technologies through the understanding of various systems used in the engineering industry. You will learn about the basic principles of materials, energy, electricity and dynamics within real engineering situations.

HNC Engineering Sytems

The HNC Engineering Systems is designed to train technicians for design, research, development and service support activities in Engineering, Manufacturing and Consultancy. This course is designed to give the required base for progressing to HND Engineering Systems year 2 or as an excellent stand-alone, enhanced HNC Engineering Systems qualification.

PDA Renewable Energy Systems

The PDA is an accredited professional development award in Renewable Energy systems at HNC/HND level.

HNC Engineering: Fabrication, Welding & Inspection

The HNC Engineering: Fabrication, Welding and Inspection is intended to produce high quality technicians for employment in large or small companies in the fabrication industry, by offering a ‘spread’ of subjects covering the whole industrial spectrum.

This course provides students with the opportunity to gain a nationally accredited award in Engineering.

NC in Mechanical Engineering

This course is designed to meet the needs of students wishing to gain employment in a wide range of engineering disciplines or as a route to HNC/HND Engineering and further progression onto BEng (Hons) Energy Engineering.

Advanced Engineering Practice: Fabrication/Welding

This course is designed to meet the needs of students wishing to pursue a career in the Engineering industry and is a natural progression route from the NC Engineering Practice award currently offered at LCC.
