HNC Engineering: Fabrication, Welding & Inspection
The HNC Engineering: Fabrication, Welding and Inspection course is designed to meet the requirements of the engineering industry, and more specifically, the fabrication sector. The course gives the student a thorough and diverse grounding in the theoretical and practical aspects of fabrication and welding applications, whilst dealing with inspection and test methods currently utilised within the industry today.

- Group award in engineering or 1 pass at higher grade.
- Accredited industrial experience
- An appropriate programme of National Certificate modules.
- An equivalent qualification will be considered.

Description
The HNC Engineering: Fabrication, Welding and Inspection is intended to produce high quality technicians for employment in large or small companies in the fabrication industry, by offering a ‘spread’ of subjects covering the whole industrial spectrum. Subjects studied include Inspection Systems, Quality Management, Welding Principles and Applications, Fabrication and Welding Materials, Welding Procedures: Specification, Qualification and Testing, Fabrication Forming Processes.
