Lews Castle College in partnership with Comhairle nan Eilean Siar and Bòrd na Gàidhlig offers the opportunity to learn Gaelic using the ÙLPAN method of learning.

Duration and Mode

Short Course, 12 Weeks, approx 3 hrs per week.

 

Description

This exciting development, based on the system used in Wales, offers a method of learning which is designed to bring learners to fluency. With ÙLPAN, speaking comes first with reading and writing following later. This series of classes will cover two units per week with each unit taking 1.5hrs.

Daytime classes:
Various levels offered - Monday & Wednesday   9:30am - 11:00am
Classes commence:  January 2011

[There may occasionally be a class on Friday, if the college is closed on the Monday]

Evening Classes:

Various levels offered - Monday, Tuesday [depending on demand]  7pm - 8:30pm
