This degree encourages you to question human behaviour. In the first and second years, you will be introduced to the study of psychology from different perspectives; the historical development of the field of psychology as well as a conceptual analysis.

Three Highers at grade BBC (one Higher should be in English) and a credit pass in Standard grade Mathematics or equivalent qualifications.

Description

This degree encourages you to question human behaviour. In the first and second years, you will be introduced to the study of psychology from different perspectives; the historical development of the field of psychology as well as a conceptual analysis. In the third year you will study, in more depth, all of these aspects of psychology. Fourth year options include sports psychology, health psychology and human cognition and computers.

You will graduate with an understanding of human behaviour from different perspectives and knowledge of the different applied fields such as clinical, health, educational and sports psychology.

You will learn online via the VLE and online discussion groups with your tutors and classmates. You will also attend a three-day face -to-face induction at the campus where you enrolled and a one-week residential in Inverness every year.
