Kim completed her HNC Early Education & Childcare at Lews Castle in 2006 and went on to gain employment at the Nicolson Institute as an A.S.N. [Additional Supports Needs worker]. "One of the main things I noticed when I started the course was how different it was to school. The people on my class were from a range of ages and backgrounds and the atmosphere in the college was very different." said Kim "I'm now doing the BA (Hons) Child & Youth Studies to further improve my future job prospects. By doing the course part-time I can combine my studies with the experience I'm gaining working as an A.S.N." she added.
