It will teach traditional skills and introduce contemporary technology. The processes of investigation and making a personal creative response will be encouraged. Students will gain confidence in critical analysis, both of their own work and others. The delivery is organized into blocks of four weeks, allowing for an in-depth study of media. However it is expected that there will be a continuity of subject matter and cross-referencing between disciplines. The studio day will encourage self-sustained work and personal progression.
