CertHE Sustainable Development
Year one of the BSc (Hons) degree programme with exit opportunity with CertHE. Subjects will include Global Environmental Issues, Introduction to Sustainable Rural Development, Principles of Ecology, Introduction to Social Policy, Social Geography of the Highlands and Islands.
DipHE Sustainable Development
Year 2 of the BSc (Hons) degree programme with exit opportunity with DipHE. Subjects will include Permaculture, Local Economic Development, Environmental Conservation, Empowering Communities, Development Policy and Theory.
BSc Sustainable Rural Development
Year 3 of the BSc (Hons) degree programme with exit opportunity with BSc degree. Subjects will include Globalisation and Sustainable Development, Tourism and the Environment, Climate Change, Strategic Environmental Assessment, The Hydrogen Economy.
BSc (Hons) Sustainable Rural Development
Year 4 of the BSc (Hons) degree programme with final exit opportunity with BSc Honours degree. Subjects will include Sustainable Energy and Waste Minimisation, Social Enterprise and the New Economy, engaging with external agencies, Capital Project Planning, Environmental Ethics.
MSc Managing Sustainable Rural Development
This course has professional accreditation from the Institute of Economic Development.
