A1 - Assess Candidates Using a Range of Different Methods
A2 - Assess Candidates’ Performance Through Observation
These are nationally recognised and widely used competence based qualifications that enable individuals to practice as work-based assessors of candidates who are working towards SVQ’s or NVQ’s
Although A2 is concerned mainly with assessment only through observation, each award enables the individual to assess what a VQ candidate can do, what they know and what they must understand about the job they are doing
There are no formal entry requirements, but candidates will be expected to show relevant evidence of occupational competence in their work.
