An Cotan Childcare

An Cotan building has been purposely designed and renovated to provide a warm, safe and caring environment in which children have the opportunities for learning through play with challenging educational activities and materials. An Cotan allows you to relax at work, further education or training, knowing your child is being cared for in a safe and secure environment. Having your child being looked after by someone else on a regular basis may be a new experience for you and your child. Our aim at An Cotan is to make your child‘s stay a happy one.
An Cotan is able to accommodate twenty-four children at any one time, six under two year olds and eighteen over two year olds, and each of these age groups has its own separate room.
In all, there are 7 staff members, including the Nursery Manager and a team of regular relief staff. To ensure that An Cotan delivers a high standard of care and education, it is regularly inspected by the Scottish Care Commission and HMI.
