Dr Sally Bell - A well-documented example of disease playing a role in an ecological invasion is the replacement of red squirrels by greys within the UK. This talk will describe how a mathematical model can be used to investigate the influence of "squirrelpox" on the replacement of red squirrels by greys.

Billy Mackinnon - 'A fail-safe guide to new enterprise start up and success'
The workshop will examine some of the factors that need to be considered at start and beyond. The content is applicable to both profit and not for profit enterprises.

Dr Gareth Davies - This talk will describe a series of studies that examine the quality of patients’ self referral help seeking decisions. Study 1 considered the nature of patients’ effective and ineffectively made help seeking decisions and established pertinent definitional parameters of this behaviour.
