Originally employed as a web developer for the Greenspace Research group at Lews Castle College on the Isle of Lewis, I now work on the IT administration for Greenspace and the particularly the Visualisation lab, its display wall and the processing requirements for that lab.

Prior to starting with Greenspace Research James worked with Proiseact nan Ealan ( The Gaelic Arts Agency ) on their IT related projects and as a Java developer for Mysterian working on web applications. James carried out an undergraduate degree (BSc) in Computer Science at the University of Edinburgh and graduated in 2003. James grew up in Ness, and went to high school at the Nicolson Institute.
