This practical course will ease individuals into Computing topics and software applications in an informal way, enabling them to gain knowledge and confidence.  Topics covered will include how to use computers, email, and the internet safely.  The basics of applications such as Word Processing, Spreadsheets, and Databases will also be covered, along with an opportunity to consider options for further study and feed into credited subjects on NQ Computing (SQA level 5) and/or HN Computing (SQA level 7) courses.
