What is special about this course?
This course offers you the opportunity to improve your chances of employment and to pick up new skills in practical contexts. You will learn some of the skills required to run a business as well as spending plenty of time outdoors.
Extra Support is available from lecturers and Course leader.
There are no specific entry requirements – please contact us to discuss whether the course is suitable for you.
Course activities include: poultry keeping, candle making, construction, gardening: growing plants and vegetables and working on the business side of running a company. You will also complete a level of the John Muir Award.
You will be part of our award winning Community Interest Company. You learn how we run the business and have the opportunity to get involved yourself.
We will provide you with wellies and a hi-viz jacket.

The course is delivered face to face with some classroom based work. The majority of this course will be spent outdoors.

Most full-time students will have their fees paid.
Students on part-time courses may also be eligible to have their course fees waived.
What can I do on completion of my course?
Further study opportunities
The course enables successful students to gain qualifications to progress onto Access to College Level 3.
The course could enable successful students to develop skills for employment.
