What is special about this course?

This one-day course is aimed at existing EV owners who wish to have a more technical understanding of this technology. It is also aimed at electricians who wish to know more about the electrical installation of electric charge points in accordance with Part 7 of the IET Wiring Regulations

Entry requirements

Anyone who is interested in the technical aspects of EV’s and the EV charging network

By the end of this Course participants will have an understanding of:

The different modes of charging.

The different types of charge points.

The different types of charging leads.

The safety implications and equipment of home chargers.

The EV charging network in Scotland in particular, and in the UK in general.

Government Incentives.

Practical demonstrations will be given.
