Personal and Vocational Studies Level 4 NC
What is special about this course?
The National Certificates in Personal and Vocational Skills are designed to allow learners to gain experience and to develop the skills to enable them to progress to further education, training, volunteering or employment.
The course consists of six awards:
- NC in Personal and Vocational Skills Level 4
- Personal Development Level 4
- Skills for Work Level 4
- Steps to Work Level 4
- Volunteering Level 4
- Saltire Volunteering Award
Candidates undertaking a level 4 NC should possess Core Skills at SCQF level 3 on entry to the programme. Adult returners will be have prior experience taken into consideration. Also based on a satisfactory interview and an ability to work at National 4 level.

Most full-time students will have their fees paid.
Students on part-time courses may also be eligible to have their course fees waived.

- Other relevant College courses at level 4 or 5
- Other appropriate training options, employment or a volunteering opportunity
