For all Lews Castle College UHI students

Following the announcements last night from the Prime Minister and the First Minister, College buildings are now fully closed.

We have moved completely online in how we support learning and teaching and all our administrative functions.  I know that the current restrictions placed upon us will be impacting significantly on how we live our lives but they are necessary to reduce the loss of life and to support our health services.

For those of you who are used to face to face teaching I realise that this change is particularly challenging but I trust that your course contact is working with you to ensure that learning is continuing.  We are in the process of working through the alternative assessment arrangements for each course to ensure that we can conclude the work of this academic session in the best way possible.  Please do continue to engage with the learning arrangements which have been put in place.  If you are unable to engage with the teaching due to illness, caring responsibilities, or any other reason please let your contact know so that we are aware and so that we can take account of this in the changing arrangements.

Thank you for your continued cooperation and patience as we continue to adjust to the changing circumstances.

This email has been copied to the student services email address   If you need support that does not relate directly to your teaching please send any requests/questions to the email address.

Please follow the Government guidance issued and stay safe.
