Senior Administration Officer and PA to Principal and Chief Executive

Salary range £26,156 plus £2,265 Islands Allowance (pro-rata)

Applications are invited for the post of Senior Administration Officer, operating from the College’s Stornoway campus.   The post involves team leadership of the College’s administration service as well as the role of PA to the Principal and Chief Executive.

The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring a planned, co-ordinated and high quality, customer-focussed service across the College and providing comprehensive clerical assistance to the Principal and Chief Executive involving diary management, arrangement of travel and co-ordination of complex tasks. 

Applicants should be educated to a minimum of HND level or equivalent and have experience of working successfully in a busy office environment.  The ability to use your own initiative, be self-motivated and exercise sound judgement is essential as well as an awareness of confidentiality issues and excellent IT skills.
